The University of Edinburgh's  Migration and Diaspora Hub is offering William R. McFarlane Scholarships from candidates accepted into a PhD programme in the School of History, Classics and Archaeology commencing in the academic year 2022.

Eligibility for University of Edinburgh - William R McFarlane PhD Scholarships in UK, 2022:

• Must have accepted into a PhD program at the University's School of History, Classics, and Archeology.
• The research interest must be in the field of history of Scottish migration or related diaspora themes.
• Hold a UK 2.1 or first-class honors undergraduate degree (or overseas equivalent) in a relevant field.
• Demonstrate excellence in academic performance in a postgraduate master’s degree in a relevant field, or be on course to do so.

• The successful applicants of University of Edinburgh - William R McFarlane PhD Scholarships in UK, 2022 will receive:
• Tuition fee waiver.
• An annual stipend.
